Account deletion

Instructions for permanently deleting a Noor account ( com.noorfaith.app).

App identity

What deletion does

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. After the server confirms deletion, the following are removed:

On the same device, the app then clears local user data it manages, including local lesson progress, lesson bookmarks, Quran notes and highlights, reading history, search history, and local Quran bookmarks.

The app does not automatically remove downloaded Quran packages, extracted download files, or prayer / app settings. Those remain on the device until you clear them separately or uninstall the app.

Deletion is not delayed or “soft deleted” in the implemented server function: after a successful response, the Auth user and the two cloud tables above are deleted. If the server returns an error, the account is not claimed as deleted.

In the Noor app

  1. Open Noor and sign in
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete account
  3. Read the warning that deletion is permanent
  4. Type DELETE to confirm
  5. Wait for the server to confirm deletion

After confirmation, the app clears the local user data listed above and returns you to the signed-out screen.

You must be signed in. If you are a guest, there is no Noor cloud account to delete.

Website form

This public website is static and does not provide a signed-in account deletion form.

Email fallback

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email developer@nurtechllc.com from the email address on your Noor account. Include:

Do not email passwords or authentication tokens. Manual requests are handled as operational capacity allows. We do not promise instant manual deletion.
